Winter Academy program
All our academy programs are delivered by our fulltime experienced coaches. Our academy pathway is designed to give players who have made the commitment an opportunity to develop their skills to be able to compete in local, provincial, and national tournaments. Junior Academys
Red Ball Future Stars
not happening this winter
Age 5-7
Red Ball Future Stars is intended for players who have an enjoyment of sport, and want to develop a strong foundation, and a real desire to play and to improve their skills. The key outcome is developing an athlete first and then the tennis player. There is a strong focus on developing coordination skills, physical literacy skills and understanding, how to control the racket and ball through, rhythm, timing, touch, feel and sound. There ar 24 spots open for this program. Please register early to avoid disappointment. Please note this program is subsidized by the AFTC.
Orange Ball Academy
Age 6-8
Graduating from the Red Ball Academy or entering this program for the first time, this program is intended for players who already posses a very strong foundation of technique and tactical knowledge, and the genuine desire to continue to improve and test their skills.
You will be developing advanced reception and projection skills; seeing what the ball is doing when your receive it and how to project an effective ball to your opponents. You will develop advanced technique, understanding strategy and developing a reliable serve.

Green Ball Academy
Age 7-9
Pre-Academy stage: Players committed to tennis and eager to compete learn to develop strengths, create weapons, and refine point construction. Green Ball Academy follows Orange Ball Senior Academy, while Green Ball Senior Academy follows Green Ball Junior Academy.

Yellow Ball Academy
10 years plus
Players who are in the current Green Ball Senior Academy will transition into playing with regular tennis balls. Focus will be on movement and making technical adjustments to be able to manage playing with a regular ball.

Junior / Senior Competitive Academy
Players by now have a solid understanding of all the necessary components to be a competitive player. Players 12 years plus have developed their own game style and are able to identify strengths and weaknesses in their opponents. Players will compete at provincial tournaments and aspire to qualify for Canada Games and Nationals.
