AFTC junior program
Junior program
Our philosophy at the AFTC is to provide more than just “tennis lessons”. We believe in providing a holistic environment for juniors to develop long lasting physical and personal habits so they can be role models for future generations.
Juniors will learn the correct physical literacy skills to “move like an athlete”, and technical and tactical skill development to confidently progress from one level to another.
Our Tennis Canada certified instructors and coaches are continually developing their teaching skills to deliver the latest coaching methods so all juniors can strive to be the best they can
Quality Standards
All our coaches have completed the Tennis Canada and Tennis Professional Association Quality Standard workshop.
Please refer to https://www.tpacanada.com/quality-standards-kids-tennis to find out more about the quality standard program.
PARENTS CAN DO IT AS WELL!
Instead of sitting and having a coffee, why not show your kids that you can also learn to play tennis. We design our programs to allow parents to participate in their own program while the kids have their lesson. We offer a Cardio tennis class for starter to intermediate players, and a Tennis Xpress class for starter players. See our program descriptions in the adult program guide.
You do not have to have any tennis experiences to participate in either of the below classes.
