Court Etiquette
Court etiquette is in place to ensure the enjoyment of all players at the AFTC. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and enjoy your game!
- Enter the courts area through the door in the front lobby.

- If your court is occupied, you may make your way to your court 2 minutes prior to your scheduled court time. Please wait for the players to finish before walking on court.
- If your court is not occupied, you may access the court up to 10 minutes prior to your court time.
- Foul language, loud shouting and screaming will not be tolerated.
- Abuse of rackets, balls, other equipment or property will not be tolerated.
- Please wait for play to stop before asking to have your ball returned from another court. Ensure play has stopped before returning a ball to another court.
- Please keep the courts clean by picking up all balls and throwing away any garbage, including ball cans and lids in the bins on the the courts.
- No chewing gum, food, hot drinks (other than water and sports drinks) are permitted on court.
Court Booking
- Player card holders can book 7 days in advance.
- Non player card holders can book 48 hours in advance.
- Check in and pay your court fee before entering the court area.
- Players are asked to cancel their court 12 hours before their reservation time. Players who consistently do not cancel their booking will lose their 7 or 2 day in advance booking privileges.
Cancellation
- For AFTC program cancellations not related to snow days, participants receive credit valid for one year
- Withdrawals require a call to (506.457.2382), with full refunds available up to 7 days before the program’s start. Within 7 days or post-first lesson, refund minus one lesson, unless spot filled.
- No refunds after the second lesson, except with management approval.
Coaching
- Coaching on court by non-AFTC staff is not permitted.
- No more than six (6) balls allowed on the court (with the exception of AFTC programs. coach-approved performance players and ball machine).
- No personal ball machines will be allowed on the courts.
- A hopper of balls will be made available from the desk for players wanting to practice their serve.
Program / Lessons Information
- Payment for all programs must be made at registration or before program start date to secure your place in the program.
- Before a private lesson all players must check in and pay.
- The AFTC has a minimum number of registrations for each class to run. In the event a program is undersubscribed registrants will be offered alternative classes or a full refund will be provided.
