Abony Family Tennis Center (AFTC) is a not-for-profit organization
The Capital Region Tennis Center, operating as the Abony Family Tennis Center (AFTC), is a registered non-profit organization. It is AFTC’s mission to promote healthy living through the sport of tennis for players of all ages, abilities, and aspirations. The Abony Family Tennis Center is a community-based venue for quality tennis programs, instructional expertise, and recreational and competitive play in the Capital Region and New Brunswick.

Abony Family Tennis Center (AFTC) Mandate
- Promote healthy living for people of all ages and abilities through the sport of tennis
- Facilitate recreational and competitive tennis for players of all abilities, while promoting sportsmanship, camaraderie, and tennis excellence
- Partner with Tennis Canada, Tennis New Brunswick, the University of New Brunswick (UNB), school districts in the Capital Region, and all levels of government
- Ensure the Abony Family Tennis Center, Board, and Staff operate in ways that are respectful, accountable, transparent, and sustainable
