The AFTC FUNdamentals programs are designed for juniors ages 4-16. It is the perfect program for players to learn the basics of tennis - serve, rally and score to be able to play a sport for life. As a player progresses from one stage to another, more advanced techniques and ball control skills are introduced.
We offer many play opportunities for players to play the game in a fun, competitive environment. Please refer to our play days, Rogers Rookie Tour, team tennis and Future Stars schedule.
Each month all junior players are eligible to be nominated as Junior Player of the Month!!! This program recognizes players who demonstrate enthusiasm, passion and make an effort each week.
NOTE: All equipment is provided by the AFTC.
No Child Refused Policy: We are proud of our policy that we do not refuse anyone. To apply for financial assistance to attend our junior programs contact Scott Ricketts.
Le Petit Tennis 4 - 5 years
Your child discovers tennis through engaging stories and images which allows for better communication and maximizing their attention and focus. Our focus is on developing basic physical literacy skills, eye-hand coordination, racquet, and ball skills. Your child develops a love for tennis in a safe and fun environment.
We use a low compression balls, smaller courts, and racquets to develop the basic fundamentals and ball controls to learn to serve, rally, and score. Using appropriate equipment and games, kids develop agility, speed, and coordination to build a solid foundation to move on the court.
